Our range of combination ladders is second to none. Combination ladders are becoming ever more popular in the UK as a way of reducing the amount of equipment a tradesman needs to carry with him from job to job in order to tackle any access problem he may encounter. They are usually designed as a 3 section ladder which extends in the usual way as a traditional leaning ladder when a wall is available as support… but where combination ladders really come into their own is when no support is available such as when servicing light fittings in a church, gymnasium, factory of school hall. Here there would be no wall to lean your ladder against and reaching the job would normally require the time consuming erection of a scaffold tower or extra large pair of step ladders. Combination ladders overcome this problem in a unique way.. the two back sections open out and lock as an ‘A’ frame, while the third or top section can be extended above the ‘A’ frame providing speedy, high level access. The horizontal base stabiliser fitted to all combination ladders, affords great lateral stability for the whole unit when used in this freestanding mode.  These ladders are indispensable for tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts where both freestanding and leaning ladder situations may be encountered and addressed with a single piece of kit.
