Titan is one of the most trusted names in ladder manufacturing. They are a UK based company with over fifty years of experience and the reputation to match. We have looked at some of Titan ladders offerings on this blog, but their step ladder range deserves some more detail. Titan ladders make three ranges of step ladder: the medium duty class 1 builders steps, the heavy duty class 1 builders steps and the heavy duty class 1 platform steps, which is Titan ladders most industrial range. These come in heights of between 4 feet (three tread model) to over 11 feet (twelve tread model) and are rated to hold a load of up to 175 kilos (kitemarked to BS2037 class 1). The price reflects this, as they range from £73 to £137, but then the Titan ladders name and quality is worth paying for you are definitely getting your money's worth!
Stepladders for Builders
Titan ladders medium duty builder's steps also come in a range between three and twelve treads, giving heights of between just under two feet, all the way to over eight feet. Even though these step ladders are designed for medium use, they are also, as you might expect from Titan ladders, kitemarked to BS2037 class 1, giving them a maximum load rating of 175 kilos. These Titan ladders range from £50 to £92 in price, which is cheaper than the Titan heavy duty ladders, for a ladder with a similar construction and the same maximum load rating as the more expensive ones. Although the Titan ladders medium duty steps do not reach as high as the heavy duty platform steps from the same brand or the heavy duty builders steps, they are built just as well. Compared to the Titan ladders heavy duty steps, the medium duty ones are very well priced (the heavy duty steps come in the same tread models, but cost between £54 and £125). Titan ladders offer great value for money with a product that performs well every day: They are designed for continuous, frequent use and are from a name you can trust every day.
