It’s that time of year when we here at Midland Ladders like to present you with our annual Christmas song; this year to the tune of Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens.  This is a classic hit to which everyone knows the tune, so get stuck in and get singing while you work!

Snow is falling

Put the ladder back

Wait until it's

Nice and dry

‘Tis the season

For nasty breaks and falls so

Don't end up in your A&E

Decorations

Illuminations

They all need to

Go up somewhere

But don't be risky

Make sure you're safe and sound and

That you'll be there on Christmas Day

We're gonna go up into the roof

Get some tinsel down

Last year’s wrapping paper and

A tangled mess of lights

Family over

Friends have popped round

Everyone's laughing

Having fun

If you're in plaster

You won't be quite so joyful

So play it safe and don't risk a fall

We're gonna have a quick safety check

Make sure the rungs are straight

Check there's no stray grease and then

Make sure the angle's right

No ladders falling

No broken bones

No nasty scratches

No not here

We're ladder safe yeah

Don't like hospitals much

Especially not at this time of year

Pick the right tool

For the right job

If a ladder

Is too dangerous

Use a scaffold

Or hire yourself a builder

Keep yourself safely on the ground

If you wobble

Bring your arms in

Don't overreach there

Not worth the pain

Move the ladder

And make sure that you're certain

You're safety savvy and good to climb

So our message

Over Christmas

Is play it safe and

Don't break a bone

‘Tis the season

For spending time with the family

Not limping around on a broken knee.
