The ladder has a platform height of 4 feet, enabling the user to comfortably reach between 9 and 10 feet. The platform comes with 2 high side rails and a forward guard rail to give peace of mind, while the platform is also equipped with an anti-slip surface.
The feet of the ladder are large, circular pads, especially designed to spread load, preventing sinking on soft uneven ground. The feet swivel in all directions and are threaded to allow perfect fine height adjustment.
Each of the four telescopic legs are independantly adjustable, making Hedgemate perfect for use on sloping or uneven surfaces or for spanning flower beds or small walls etc.
The back section of Hedgemate is near vertical allowing positioning right up against your hedge, and unlike standard step ladders, you won't need to over reach. The large platform and high guardrails optimise safety and confidence so you can work with both hands without feeling the need to hold on to something.
The Hedgemate is constructed from grey epoxy coated steel, while the extending telescopic legs are chrome plated for excellent protection and long life. The Hedgemate is supplied flat packed and requires simple assembly before using it for the first time - thereafter with the removal of 4 nuts, the unit folds easily for storage.
